YDP celebrate Super Eagles victory and charge Nigerians to always be Positive

   
        Today's victory showed--above other things--the peculiarity and peculiar nature of the Nigerian people.
We as a country have had problems, at one point in time or another--just as every country has. But the resilience of the Super Eagles in their win against a stubborn Iceland once again espouses the diehard Naija spirit every Nigerian has and is born with.

The country today is faced with many a daunting challenge wherein it sometimes seems that we cannot get out of, and even with the worst economic recession in thirty years, we still stay strong, positive and resilient.

On this note, YDP would like to congratulate the Super Eagles on this timely victory and encourage them to do more and project the Nigerian spirit abroad and fly the flag in Russia, and would also like to wish them total victory in the final group game against Argentina next Wednesday.

As Nigerians, we stay, and must remain united because as the Super Eagles have delivered, we would deliver Nigeria out of the shackles of poverty and insecurity and every other myriad of challenges facing us in 2019.
